TOAST Time Punches: Hourly FOH only
Let your direct supervisor know if you need to adjust time or add missed punch on TOAST.
Please, don't submit a change in hours in Paycom for a Toast time entry. The tips won't be calculated correctly.
PAYCOM Time Punches: Hourly BOH, Admin & Events
All the time punch changes must be submitted as soon as possible. The deadline for changes is Sunday before payroll week.
A typical order of Paycom punches follows:
IN DAY: Clocked in
OUT LUNCH: Start of break
IN LUNCH: End of break
OUT DAY: Clocked out
ATTENDANCE
Punctuality & Tardiness
Pure Project excepts all Team Members to be punctual for all meetings and shifts.
Any tardiness should be communicated with your direct supervisor, shift supervisor, or meeting attendees.
Tardiness over 5 minutes will be counted as a punctuality event.
Excessive tardiness may lead to a verbal/written warning, as well as termination.
If you are not feeling well... SICK TIME
Please, assist the team in trying to find someone to cover your shift, especially if the absence is last-minute.
Reach out ASAP or at least 4 hours before your shift starts to your direct supervisor AND the head of your department if your direct supervisor is off or out of town.
Submit Sick Time via Paycom. Team Members can use up to 40 hours per year for sick-related absences.
***PLEASE, BE AWARE OF YOUR OVERTIME. ANY OVERTIME ABOVE 15 MINUTES MUST BE PRE APPROVED BY YOUR DEPARTMENT'S DIRECT SUPERVISOR**
CALIFORNIA MEAL PENALTY
If you are scheduled to work 8 hours shifts, you have to take your meal break before the 5th hour of work.
Example: Team Member clocks in at 8 a.m. - must clock out for lunch by 12:59 p.m.
If you are scheduled to work 6 hours, you can waive the meal penalty, but make sure you don't go over 6 hours (1 second over will generate a penalty)

How many sick time hours can I use per year?
Per San Diego law, you can use up to 40 hours of sick time per year. This balance resets on January 1st.

How many hours of Flex PTO do I have? (Current policy)
Minimum recommendation > At least 15 days every year.
Maximum recommendation > Whatever takes you to recharge without compromising your department's operations.
Two weeks' notice is required - this PTO will not cover last-minute absences.
Team Members must exhaust their Vacation time before using Flex PTO.
How many hours of accrued Vacation do I have? (OLD VACATION POLICY - Inactive)
If you have any balance, it will be displayed in Paycom, under Time Off Balances.
Employees accrue 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
The accrual limit is 40 hours. Once you reach 40 hours, you stop accruing unless you use your vacation time.
Balance from the previous year rolls over to the next year, up to 40 hours.
