GIVING
WHAT IS 1% FOR THE PLANET?
What this means from a high level is that Pure Project donates 1% of all sales (not just profits) to environmental non-profit organizations, whether we are profitable or not.
Volunteer Time Off Request (VTO)
Pure Project encourages employees to become involved in their communities, lending their voluntary support to programs that positively impact the quality of life within these communities.
The following guidelines are for Pure Project's employees who serve as volunteers in community programs of personal interest or corporate-sponsored initiatives.
Volunteer Time Off
Employees to take up to 24 hours of paid time off each year to participate in their specific volunteer program.
The VTO hours will not count as working hours.
The hours do not roll over, and there is no payment upon termination. VTO hours will not be counted as hours worked for overtime.
Volunteer time must be requested in advance and, when possible, should be regular and on a set schedule to help with the coordination of other work-related responsibilities.
Volunteer time should not conflict with the peak work schedule and other work-related responsibilities, create the need for overtime or cause conflicts with other employees' schedules.
Eligibility & Approval Process
All full-time employees are eligible. Interested employees should have expected performance or above.
Interested employees should meet with their managers to discuss their volunteer choice and schedule.
Except for pre-approved organizations, Team Members must complete the Volunteer Time Off Form for final approval.
Once approved, Team Members should add the Time off Request via Paycom.
